Changing of the Guards at Network NZ

The 16th January 2018 marks a momentous day here in the Network NZ family. As you may have well have heard, Network NZ has been sold, and this is the day Michelle and Melissa handed over the reigns to us, Mandy and Candice. Welcome to the new Network NZ!

Thank you to Michelle and Melissa

A huge thank you to Michelle and Melissa for what they have so lovingly created with this amazing community. If you are a foundation member, you will fully appreciate the true value of what has been created. We are so honoured that they have trusted us with their baby and will do our absolute best to bring you the absolute best we can to continue to build on what has been created. They will be around in the groups over the next 6 weeks assisting us, at which stage Melissa will be heading on maternity leave and Michelle will be taking a break to concentrate on her health. We hope to welcome them back into the communities later in the year again.

    Who are we?

    Mandy Chamberlin (pictured left)

Mandy (short for Mandy… no really, it’s not short for anything, it’s just Mandy) was one of the early adopters in Network NZ and has been an active foundation member since the start of the membership community. She has also been running one of the Auckland Face to Face catch ups for the last 2 years. Mandy owns custom embroidery business, Veronica and Me Designs, digitising embroidery designs for clients worldwide, as well as creating customised embroidery products for clients in New Zealand. She lives in East Auckland, is married to Bruce and has 2 children, Veronica, aged 3 and Ariel aged 5 months.  Before starting her family and business, Mandy gained degrees in Psychology and Criminology and was a part of the Intelligence team with the Department of Corrections for a number of years. She is passionate about motivating and inspiring others and loves to see others succeed.

    Candice Baker (pictured right)

Candice has been the NNZ Marketing Expert for the past 14 months, and owns The Marketing Baker, empowering business owners with the right marketing ingredients for success. She was recruited to Network NZ by Mandy when she started her business 2 years ago and has thoroughly enjoyed being part of the community. Before owning her own business, Candice studied a Bachelor of Business and Information Management, with a second major in marketing, then worked in Marketing in businesses from kiwi start up’s to large international corporations. She is married to Jacques and has (THE cutest) 2 sausage dog fur babies, Frankie (1 year) and Izzy (17weeks) and lives in Maraetai, Auckland (with dodgy cell phone reception and fun weather!). Candice loves supporting and building others up to achieve their version of their own success.

We have known each other for almost 16 years now, and work well together. We are excited to start this journey together with you.

What does this mean for Network NZ?

At the moment, we will be learning the ropes, and getting to grips with continuing the great work that has been done to build Network NZ to what it is today. This means day to day operation will continue as usual.

Michelle had great dreams of what Network NZ could become, that she wasn’t able to implement. She has shared this with us and together with our vision, you will begin to see some positive changes, building on the great foundation that exists now.

Our aim is to make Network NZ the strongest business network in New Zealand. We look forward to you being part of this journey.

Membership will reopen in February, but in the mean time we encourage you to invite your friends in business, and any business connections into our FREE community group. We will keep you in the loop of any future changes by email as well as in the groups.
