New Zealand is made up of over 500,000 small to medium-sized businesses, yet there are very few awards designed to recognise outstanding achievement in the SME arena. Every Entry Receives Something Special
We want the experience of entering the Network NZ Business Awards to be one of real value for you and your business. We are NOT about making a ton of work for you in entering the award, to receive nothing in return. We have lined up the very best in judges for you, who are qualified professionals who have the backing of years of experience. They will be assessing your entry and giving you quality, substantial feedback. Each and every entry will be judged by 3 judges and feedback provided. Your $100+gst entry fee per business means we can deliver you the absolute best experience, and you can enter as many categories as you feel eligible for. Your investment in your entry will deliver your business value packed feedback and advice from our panel that well outweighs the cost of entry.
Every business entering will receive:
- 1 month Strategic Space Membership at The Common (for August 2019) – valued $275+gst
- Valuable feedback on every entry submitted
- Awards entrant badge for use in your own promotion
Entries are open until 8 pm Sunday 30th June 2019.
There are 7 amazing categories to enter, and you can enter as many as you feel your business is eligible for.

There will be up to four Finalists in each Category.
All Category Finalists are then eligible for the People’s Choice Award and all of the 7 main Category Winners are eligible for Network NZ Business of the Year Supreme Award.
The Network NZ Business Awards are open to all business owners within New Zealand. There is no requirement to be a member of Network NZ and no preference will be given to members vs non-members.
Anyone with a New Zealand based business can enter regardless of whether your business is full time or part time, or whether you are working on your own or employ staff. You can be a Sole Trader, Partnership, Company, NFP or Charity.
Our only requirement is that your business must have been trading, as any business structure, for at least 1 year to be eligible to enter.
Simple Entry Process
- Go to the Awards Website Enter page
- Pay the $100+gst entry fee – payable once per business, and you can enter for as many categories as you feel appropriate for your business
- You will then get access to the online entry forms
- Complete one entry per category that you wish to enter
- Submit your entry by 8pm 30th June 2019.
- Your feedback will be provided to you after the final awards ceremony.

- Entries Open: 9am 6th May to 8pm 30th June 2019
- Judging: 1st to 18th July 2019
- Finalist Ceremony: 19th July, at The Common, Parnell, Auckland
- Finalist Interviews: 22nd July to 9th August 2019
- People's Choice Voting: 10am 20th July to 8pm 11th Augutst 2019
- Awards Ceremony: 17th August 2019 at The Common, Parnell, Auckland
