    Network NZ is that business community you have been looking for, and we would love for you to join us.

    The Network NZ Story

    The Network NZ Business Community was originally created by Michelle Goulevitch. She wanted to create a safe online space where business owners in New Zealand could connect, and grow their businesses.

    While running your own business is incredibly rewarding, some days can be challenging and lonely. So it was no surprise that her idea proved popular. Network NZ grew from a small online group to a recognised brand of its own. It became a business community where people were comfortable to ask for help and offer it in return. In true collaborative kiwi style, the members are all about looking after the little guy, right through to supporting large businesses.

    Michelle showed definite superwoman tendencies while building this amazing community. But she did not do it alone. She had the incredible support of her business partner Melissa Taylor, who helped with everything from moderation to strategy. Michelle also surrounded herself with a team of trusted professionals who provided the advice and support that business owners need. 

    Unfortunately in 2017 Michelle had to make the tough decision to prioritise her declining health. So, she began to search for new owners who held the core values of Network NZ. Michelle chose Mandy Chamberlin and Candice Baker because she knew they would be able to nurture and grow Network NZ with the same business values that were important to her from the start. 

    Mandy and Candice took ownership in early 2018 with a vision to continue what Michelle had created, and continue to provide the best support and resources to New Zealand businesses.

     

    What We Stand For

    Our motto is ‘Connecting and Growing People in Business’. We are passionate about helping people in business and enriching their lives. Collectively, we can feel inspired and confident to grow, allowing us to make the greatest impact in our industries and the world!

    Network NZ is a safe and supportive online community that welcomes business owners from all industries and walks of life. Like any community, we are as strong as our members. With your help we can do phenomenal things to support the growth of small, medium and large business right here in New Zealand.

    We want you to be well equipped to realise your business dreams. So, we have a range of resources for you to utilise. One of the most integral parts of our support network is our selection of Facebook groups, but that is not all we offer. We also provide an online business directory with excellent SEO rankings, a library of resources and online coaching, valuable and actionable tips, and monthly online coaching sessions on a range of topics designed to help you increase your business skills.

    Finally, we have an incredible team of Business Leaders who provide advice and support in a number of different areas of business. They deliver weekly pearls of wisdom, run information-packed online coaching sessions, create practical business resources and tools, as well as supporting the businesses within our communities every day.

    Candice Baker

    I am a strategic thinker and am really passionate about seeing businesses succeed. Which is probably why marketing is my calling. I am the NNZ Leader in Marketing and my business is The Marketing Baker where I empower business owners with the right marketing ingredients for success. 

    Backed by my Bachelor of Business, I have worked with Kiwi startups, large international corporations and everything in between. I have an ability to easily identify areas of opportunity for businesses to grow and develop which helps me empower my clients and the members of Network NZ. 

    I am always looking to expand my skills and knowledge in a wide variety of areas. In fact, I am often told my audio book collection should include more things than just business books! My perfectionistic tendencies mean that I can get caught up on getting the details right, and I often find myself immersed in high level strategic thinking.

    Mandy was actually the one to introduce me to Network NZ and I am proud to be part of such a tight knit and valuable community. I live in beautiful coastal Auckland with my husband Jacques and our two dog fur babies - Frankie and Izzy. It won’t surprise you that I am obsessed with all things sausage dog, so yes, tag me in any and all sausage dog related cuteness!

    People fascinate me. I love to see the way they interact and participate in a community setting. So when the opportunity arose to co-own Network NZ I jumped at the opportunity. I also own Veronica and Me Designs, a customised embroidery business that helps feed my creative side.

    Most of my career has been focused on human behaviour and interaction. I studied Psychology and Criminology at university and all of my jobs have revolved around understanding people and why they do what they do. These skills have proved invaluable when it comes to navigating the waters of business networking and interactions. 

    After working in both the corporate and public sectors, I started my business after the birth of my first daughter Veronica. (Yes, she is named after Veronica Mars - my ultimate TV obsession!) It began as a venture with flexible hours to work from home while spending time with my children, but it also introduced to me to the Network NZ Community which helped take my business from strength to strength.

    I am creative thinker who is always looking for a better way to do things. Not only does this help me when I try and take on too much (as I always do), but I love to provide suggestions and ideas to the members of the Network NZ community when they too are looking for a better way. I live in Auckland with my amazing husband Bruce and our two gorgeous daughters.
